Five questions to ask before a remodel
Before you call anyone, sit down and answer these. The clearer you are, the better your project goes.
The best projects start with clear answers, not a Pinterest board. Before you reach out to a contractor, work through these.
First, what problem are you actually solving? Second, how long do you plan to stay in the house? Third, what is the number that would make you walk away? Fourth, what can you live without if the budget gets tight? Fifth, who makes the final call when two people disagree?
None of these are about tile or paint. They are about alignment. When you can answer them, every later decision gets easier, and the people you hire can do their best work.
